  • Problems with the LED rendering

    Hello,

I am new to V-Ray and this is my first post ever, so I apologize if I'm asking something that has already been asked.

I'm working on the light fixture in Maya that has around 300 VrayLightMtl LEDs inside the fixture covered by the plastic cover. Of course, it's impossible to render them, so I was wondering what would be the best way to go around it, but still make them look good. They do not light the 'tunnel.' Do you think turning off primary visibility would be a good way to do it? I could probably add some effects in After Effects. I'm kind of new to Maya too, so I'd appreciate any suggestions and advice. I attached two stills I rendered.

    Thank you!

What exactly is the problem? Why rendering the lights would be impossible?
What's the type of the lights?

I have only Vray Light Mtl on them, no lights. That shouldn't be such a big problem, should it? I forgot to mention it's a 13 second animation, and in one of the shots the camera goes through the fixture. I don't think any of that should be a problem, but it took render farm 45 minutes to render one frame inside the fixture.
