I'm just starting to look into getting lux values out of our sun studies. are there any good tutorials for this?

I think the main issue I'm having is getting the vraylightmeter calculate each frame of a sun study animation. it would be good to use the export to csv for this too.

the other question I have is (which is less to do with vray). is there a good workflow to take the vrayilluminance render element, into something like fusion and use a colour picker and text tool to display lux values?

    thanks

You can probably do a script to step through the frames of the animation, calculate the light meter, and write out a .cvs file. The light meter has MaxScript methods Calculate() and SaveCSV() which you can use for this purpose.
