  • Distributed Rendering help in max 5....

    I'm working in max 5 and we're having issues with the DR taking the texture maps in the scene into account when rendering....some maps work and others do not. Everything is on a server that every machine can see....

    I try to go into the different directories for mapping these paths but nothing ever pops up after I click on "browse" in the DR dialog box.....

    any ideas how to map your bitmaps in your scenes so they work when using DR? Or is this just something that doesn't work yet in DR and would be available in version 1.5??

    sometimes i find it helps to manually access the server computer from your render slaves. sort of just to get the doorway open hehe. not sure if this is how things are really fixed but seemed to work for me
