Silly question on Global Photon Map...

Hi there everybody,
I think I am getting confused since I am coming from a Mental ray background (and a mental hospital soon).

When we are using GPM can we use any lights to create sky global illumination like IES Sky or Skylight?

Photonmapping doesnt understand environementlight. only vraylights and vraymaterials.

if you want to do this you rather should use the new lightmap method. this is much faster to setup and also understands everything that can make light.
