Ink n' Paint with VRay 1.45.70

Is there any trick to rendering with Ink n' Paint materials in VRay 1.45.70?

I can't use the VRay toon in this situation and Ink n Paint simply displays all the geometry as a solid pink colour.

I know people have successfully rendered with Ink n Paint in VRay. Care to share your method of setup?

Probably should post it in the bugs section it used to just work
