I dont know what u mean by gloomy.
I think it looks ok and realistic...
if u want to make a warmer atmosphere, u can use a little tint of yellow in your light and u can use HSV as color mapping instead of exponential.

Maybe some direct light would cheer it up a bit? It would also probably look pretty neat on all that glass.

I agree, some sunlight acrross the glass would look awsome. Think thats all you need to remove the "gloomyness" from it.

It's another company but check this little beauty out.

BTW, it's very hard to tell that your scene is at night. Looks like daylight coming from off camera left. Isn't that the front of the store?

if its a night scene your not going to want the vray lights or the skylight portals. maybe you may want a amber colored light comming in from the street lights. but not all the white/blue light that is comming in now.

i dont think you need all those cray lights. I would remove the skylights ones. and use the other with a very low multipliers.

Basicallly what you should do, is start without any light comming into the scene. Add the lights from the interior. get it looking right, then add the street lights. they shouldnt add too much too the scene though.

You could also try making the lights outside the windows much smaller with higher mult and turning them at an angle from above the top of the window shining in.
