  • Size of Irr Map relative to final Resolution Sized Output

Im working on a project right now and i have five views to be rendered. well the IR Map Calculation is taking about 4 hours each and then the rendering even longer. in vray advance can you render your irmap to like 400x300, but then still use that same map on like a 2000x2000 image?
im just curious, right now its about the wait for me...........

You can use an irradiance map from a low-res image for a large-res rendering, but it may be blurrier. This is the same as lowering the Min/Max rate for the irradiance map.
