Anyone have any suggestions how to improve the quality of this interior render?
My main complaint is the darkness of the walls around the ceiling. Is there an easy way to give a more even lighting to the walls?

Are you using full Revit lights with IES elements included etc, or just illuminated surfaces for those lights?

I've found this makes a very big difference in the quality of interior lighting.

          Hi,
          • composition isnt great, is the image that wide so you can show half a imac on a desk?
          • chairs are all perfectly aligned which makes it less believable.
          • image is too dark
          • flag is weird
          • carpet texture size seems wrong
          • Ambient occlusion? Floating conference phone on table
          • Do the colors have to be those? Any contrast possible?
          • Lighting is quite boring.
My advice would be to look at some reference and relook at your scene.

-Being confined within a room limits camera position, and the clients want to see all the conference table and at least know there is a desk for secondary use.
-Furniture has just been placed and not adjusted til I can get the image to look the way I want
-I agree image is too dark, which is why I posted here for help. How do I brighten the image, get better lighting? When I lower exposure I get hot spots and still dark spots on the wall.
-flag is just a place holder image on the TV til the client supplies the "meeting" image they prefer
-carpet size and texture has been pulled from the manufacturer so I have to assume it's correct
-revit doesn't have ambient occlusion.. I agree on the phone, I removed it
-every material in the scene was chosen by the interior designer, I don't have say so in that.
-the lighting is what the engineers have specified. But artificial lights are my kryptonite. I'm hoping for tips/suggestions on how to improve on interior lighting.
