  • interior lighting techniques!!

    hi guys/gals,

    ive just bought vray and having a good mess around with it,done a few tuts and finding my way around it.there seems to be more than one way to get the end result ,all having there advant/disadvantages.just wondering what your preferred methods where.just trying to find a good method to get the nac of before moving on to other things.

    personally I just try and recreate physically correct lighting as much as possible. Its the best way to get predictable results...

      sorry guys possibly came across all wrong.not to long ago there was apost to do with people's preferred methods for exterior/daylight settings,that was the sort thing i was asking,but for interior.
      what ive read and tried with the photon mapping,it seems to be not as good a result as say the light cache or iradiance map.is it worth sticking with PM or avoiding it and sticking with one of the others?
      also is the colour mapping similar to max's exposure controls with logarithmic being similar to the exponential colour map?
