In this tutorial, I wanted to see what was possible with V-Ray Next in distributed rendering (DR) mode.

For these renders, the viewport IPR + VFB were powered by 704 CPU cores via DR. This roughly came to 1.83 THz (1830 GHz) of combined rendering capacity driven by a stack of Linux servers.

I just can't imagine life without DR, now that I have used it on this project! A special thanks to all the folks at Chaos Group for helping make this tutorial possible.

      Cheers,
      Rusty
