  • How to Import Vray Material (with maps) into Substance Painter?

    Hi,
which would be the way, to importa a vray material into substance (when I have maps for Diffuse, Reflection color and Reflection amount, IOR, Glossiness, NormalMap)?
Currently I only know how to get them out of Substance, but not how to get them back into SP.
    Many thanks

you can drag and drop the textures into painter individually, or use the 'import resources' option on the shelf. Not aware of any plugin that exports the vray material straight into it, you could look at substance live link plugin, not sure if that will do it in some way.

Livelink is only for export, I already use it.
I know how to import textures into substance, but the shader model in SP is the problem. VrayMaterisl is not PBR.
There is only one „non-PBR-spec...“ in SP available and the vrayMaterial has no specular map (like Arnold).
I tried to do it with custom shader channels, but this looked wrong and incomplete.
I could imagine, that there‘s somehow a conversion possible, but I don‘t know how.
