  • Changing Color in Post-Processing using Render Elements?

    Hi,

iam looking for the easiest way to change colors in post processing. In my case i have a couch and i need to change the color (16 colors) of the fabric for every rendering i do. When changing the color in Photoshop afterwards its crazy hard (for me) to not get fake looks, also because i´d need to change the reflection colour etc. as well. So my question would be if there´s an esier way using combined renderelements or something like this to speed up the process and get realistic looks?! Any suggestions would be highly appreciated! Cheers, Felix

Yes, and you can search the forum. I had the same question awhile back. I'll look and see if I can't find the post.

I would use an animation with the 16 different materials. An animated material modifier on the geometry with a multimaterial, keyframed over 16 frames. No hassle with comping. It's faster to setup than anything else imho.
