    Just like in the topic. I was trying to create something like this but without visual success and I cannot find such tutorial/mat on the Internet. Any help most welcome!

        Fairly easy, you can do it with a light material or with a regular vray material with self illumination. You can find a scene attached to this post with 2 materials in the slate editor, the vraymaterial is the one applied to the plane. Feel free to analyze and experiment. If you have any questions or requests just ask.

          Ok, I thought it might be that sort of thing.

          This is pretty quick, fairly dirty but the sort of idea I had in mind, if you wanted to do it in the render.
          Just a mix of simple gradient ramps with lens effects/blur and a blend for the guy's model.

          I could argue that it's easier done in post and a bit more controllable but it really depends on what sort of shot it is, animation or still etc.
