  • Problem with VrayEnvironmentFog

    Hi!
I'm rather new Vray so please be gentle if this is a stupid question

I am trying to create a feeling of an under water scene using VrayEnvironmentFog. I'm not aiming for photorealism (it would be completely dark i the real world) but rather an "artistic interpretation".
My problem is that it renders a sharp line at the fog distance. Past the fog distance everything is inside the fog but closer than the distance it's clearly visible. How do I make the fog more "gradual"? I intend to dolly the camera closer and at the moment everything pops out as soon as i gets inside the Fogdistance. Any help would be very appreciated!
    Thanks!

I'm not sure about this, but I think you can setup a series of scenes with slightly different fog-distances in each, to keep the 'clear in the view' just out of reach of the camera's lens until you're ready for it (perhaps when close enough) to drop off the fog's effect.
