  • VFB saving out denoised RGB channel

Just curious how to save out a denoised image from the VFB?

In my VFB I apply the denoiser and increase its strength. Save out the denoised RGB channel, but when opening in PS, I just get a plain white screen... unless I save out as a Jpeg rather than an EXR.

    What am I missing?

Here I am using the "save current channel" button and a custom mode for the denoiser and saving to exr.
Is this what you are doing? In my case there are no issues opening the image in Photoshop.
Could you try a simple test like this one? Could you send us the exr that you have issues with?

Thanks for the reply Vladimir. Apologize for the delay, but I've been sick.

Yes, how you've done it was how I thought it should be done... no luck.
I've also tried the effect result channel and every option with the denoiser with no luck.

The only way I've been able to get it out is by saving jpeg, tiff or just not denoising it.

Hi, could you send me one exr with the issue? It could be very simple for instance a sphere with material and VRaySun+VRaySky.
