  • An in depth tutorial on image sampling

    Hi all,
Here's a discussion/tutorial about image sampling which i wrote for the Visualization Insider at CGarchitect as a response to questions and comments posted about what was written in the Insider article entitled, Critical V-Ray Settings.

To view the tutorial, see week 17 of the Visualization Insider at...

    Hope it's of some use.

        I feel so special!

lol he quoted my post from the original thread in his toturial. I'm so special.

"R_cyph : I totally agree about with that as well. I was using Min 1 max 10 with the to get my glossies nice and smooth, and to give the QMC sampler enough room to sample adaptively for good results.
After reading the PDF I tried Min 4 Max 6 settings and it increased my rendertimes with no visible difference in quality "

EDIT:After reading this tutorial. I must say I stand corrected. I'm going to try a couple more tests with this new information! Thanks!
