3ds max 10? Am I missing something? I thought that the latest version was 9.

I'm a Max 10 beta tester...the book isn't available until November. Max 10 is going to be released in September.

if you guys subscribe (pay annual subscription fee) then you should get the upgrade for free! Well we have in previous versions anyway

on a side note, i think chaos should have used this system during the lengthy transition from beta to final. Pay annually and u get access to latest builds and free upgrades. If you dont subscribe, no upgrade (I think they shot themselves in the foot a bit saying when selling 1.47 that it included free upgrades to 1.5 considering this change was many months work).
