I had some fun this afternoon playing around with VrayDirt , and was pleasantly surprised to see that I could combine 2 VrayDirt maps inside a VrayCompTex.
On the attached jpg:
1 - is a simple object with some red Vraydirt in the diffuse slot of a vraymaterial. I have changed the Z bias of the VrayDirt to a value of 2 so that the effect is most pronounced downwards, like it would be on a stone cladding material.
2 - is achieved by making a duplicate of the VrayDirt map and ticking the 'invert normal' parameter, then combining them using a VrayCompTex set to minimum.
3 - is the same material and object but with a Vraydisplacementmod
Hope this is useful to someone, and hope it hasn't been covered already.
