  • How to create your own Panoramic HDR image?

Can anyone help me do this?

"One of the easiest ways to create a light probe image is to acquire a high dynamic range image of a mirrored ball; other techniques involve stitching multiple images together (such as with RealViz's Stitcher), or using a scanning panoramic camera such as the ones available from Panoscan or Spheron."

I just make a scene and save out a mirror ball reflecting it?
What is the exact workflow to create your own vray hdr images?

If anyone can share their tips or knows of a good tutorial, please share it with us ^_^

    thanks

Do you mean you want to create a pano from your 3d scene ? If so then just create a camera pointing along an axis and in the rendersettings override the fov in the camera settings, set it to 360 and choose spherical as camera type.
This will get you a Lat/Long Panorama from the camera you are rendering from.

    Regards,
    Thorsten
