Okay, I am sure I asked this once long ago, but cannot find an answer now.
Say I have an editable poly selected in perspective view....
I want to press "t" to go to top view and it works as expected.
Now, let's say the same object has a stack of modifiers, i.e., one or more editable poly mods.
Try the same "t" for top view and wham! It attempts to tessellate in sub-object mode. [edit: even though I was not in sub-object mode.]
Same for all those keys, like "p" for perspective tries to "make planar."
I had max setup so it never did that for a long time, but last week lost the "C" drive and had to re-install/restore, etc. Just wanting my max to behave as before.
Anyone have any idea where this setting lives??
Thanks in advance
