  • infrared sunglasses how do you imagine to do such a material ?

    Hi everybody,

I try do do a realistic infrared glass for sunglasses material.
It is not very easy because of the gradient of the color, reflection and transparency.

If you have an idea to do it, you are welcome ( i put some ref pictures of this sort of glass in attachments to give you an idea of this mat).
For me, i think perhaps the best beginning for this material is a car paint shader ... what do you think ?

    Thanks

    Mienda

I falloff map for the reflection color will probably do the job; make sure you set the "energy preservation" to "monochrome" so that the refractions are not tinted.

    Best regards,

Thank you very much Vlado, it seems to be a good way to do it. ( i would never think to change the "energy preservation" to "monochrome"
I will do some better tests .

      regards
