    hi all!

when i render glas with a thickness like a glas plate for a table, i can not achieve the look i want.

f.e. the egdes of the glas and the faces on the small side of the glas are supposed to be much darker than the upper and lower faces..

a glas plate 1x1X0.02 m the 0.02m part should be totaly non transparent.

i tried some settings with vray, but can not get it to work..

    regards

Usualy the real glass with 2cm thickess is frosted in those faces, did you already try?

I think it should do the trick

Try to add a fog color like RGB 160,195,177 and increase the multiplier to 0.5
