  • Absorbtion in vray

    Hello!
    I browsed the article
    http://www.richardrosenman.com/vray.htm
I have seen there images of venus and dragon, where the absorbtion is shown.
Before images the intro is written:
    "
Absorbtion is used for simulating translucency. Unlike Sub-Surface Light Scattering (SSS, 3S), the light is absorbed within the subject instead of bouncing about and contributing to internal illumination
    "
So I think, what is need to create such materials, if it is not SSS?
