                    yes, thanks Richard. I do like to see render times and how quality v Time is affected, there's not that many tuts that get into that and I think they all should. but anyway thanks for the post

                      Nice tutorial. very well done. I can't help but wonder though... where could this be useful? I would be interested to hear of some real world examples of where you might use these type of materials.

                      I would also be interested to know a bit more about how absorption differs from SSS. Any chance of showing us?
