Hi guys,
Let me quickly introduce myself. I am a Switzerland based designer, a relative newbie to vray for rhino and proud to just have acquired my first job as a visual artist.
The task is to produce a few interior and exterior renderings for some appartments. Whilst so far I am quite well managing the modelleing, the lighting aspect and the materials, I am still struggeling big time with a couple of specific tasks.
First, there is the need to have some very fury carpets lying around. Having searched this forum as well as the internet I can not come up with any adequate solution so far. I once thought, it might be a good idea to have someone export carpet rendering meshes as obj-object out of 3ds Max, however, this seems like a big struggle. Then, I searched for readily available carpet models, but still, there seems nothing around. I would be extremely happy if one of you could point me in the right direction. Thing is, the carpets are quite close to the camera and show almost every detail...
The second problem I have is creating exterior garden scenes. Whilst everything works quite fine with relatively small and detailed areas, the large scale illustrations are what gives me a headache. I am fine with trees and grass, but hedges are a real trouble, especially when it comes to the looks. Does anyone have a good idea for me?
Well, cheers in advance for your help.
Regards,
Chris
