  • Vray multiple light modify at once

I dont know anyone knows this but i want to share it anyway. I usually had problem with lots of light in my scene and everytime when i need to modify light setting i was doing it manually for each of them. So i found this solution

1.Create any light you want ( omni or rectangle)
2.Draw a line attach to the light
3.Select both of them and right click component
4.Copy them as much as you want
5.When you need to modify all of them, all you have to do double click on any of them and click to light, change what ever you want
    all will be effected.

    Thats it

    Thanks.

That works because you're putting them in a component. Components can be instanced multiple times in a scene, so if you edit the definition of the component, all of the instances will reflect the changes.

just as a heads up, some people try to convert the light group to be a component... DON'T DO IT! The light will be broken and sad. If you put the light group inside of a component definition, you'll be fine though.
