Transfer materials from one to to the other

Hi, I have one question, I downloaded this plant, and as you can see one side of the leaves have the texture, and the other side have a white material, and when I render, the white side shows like white and the othe side shows the texture, so is it posible to make the white material transparent in order to see the leaf texture without having to apply the texture in the white side?
