Simple displacement in V-ray for Maya - tutorial

It seems like there isn't necessarily a good place to find a tutorial that is pretty basic like a walk through on how to create a displacement map in Photoshop and then the settings to use it correctly in Maya. I wrote a simple tutorial I hope some of you find it useful.
