  • External lighting with Vray

    Hi,

Im new to Vray and am trying to set up a simple (straighforward) skylight or sunlight to light a typical street scene. How should I go about this and is there any advice you can give. I have searched the forum(s) for tutorials but have not yet found a simple explanation. I am also confused about the GI Environment settings.

    All advice greatly appreciated. Thanks

direct light illuminating the scene: color of light yellow, multiplier of .7
environment light: color of sky blue, multiplier of .5

works well, but any adjusting u need, do it with the colormapping multipliers. much easier to tweak as needed.
    5 years and counting.
