      Looks like Mare beat me to it, I was going to say the same thing. only I wanted to try it myself. The results are below...



      Sorry about the subject (I do interiors), not quite up to Animal Logic's standard but if you want the scene I can email it to you.

          Screen grab of the material....



          I think it still needs a little more work but you are welcome to what I have so far.

          The output multiplier for Map #1 is 1.5 and for Map #2 is 2.0.

                thx, I tried it... I put this shader in a belnd material with a neon. I think it will be work

                  You could use raytraced reflections with absorbtion instead of transparency. We used a blend material that mixed between a glassy vray material and a self illuminated standard material, with a falloff map in the mask slot (I was part of the team on the XMA show).

                      Adding vrayEdgesTex map, in specular channel...is also funny, for web or other applications.

                        I am playing with Vraymaterial, to obtain the same effect... this, is one of the first trying.
