I'd like to know that too. It can't be rendered with Brazil or FinalRender either (and probably with MentalRay too).

perhaps thats a question you should ask the makers of phoenix.. its just not supported

Phoenix is from Chaos Group.

Have you tried to check "Optimized atmospheric evaluation" in the VRay:: System rollout?

There is an option in Phoenix, "Raytracing detection", set it to "Always raytrace" and it should work.
