        Onyxtree Proxy I was playing with today. Render times are great because the leaves are geo-leaves and use no alpha maps.
        300 MB OBJ file - just under 2 mil polys.

          Here is a nice free program to make vines - export as OBJ and convert to meshes as dicussed.

            Check out TreeSketch 3.0 on the iPad. The latest version now lets you upload OBJ right to your DropBox account.

              Onyx has some really great freebies also. These can be downloaded as OBJ and converted using my method with no issues.
