  • plants and trees

I'm starting a project where I'll be rendering lots of plants and trees. I have done a few in the past and have always found plants and trees can increase render times and bog down viewports.

Are there any products or workflows that people can recommend for large-scale green space renders?

    Thanks,
    Andrew

I like trees from vbvisual like you can see at image 51 and 52 of my old gallery entries. Very light wight polygon count, quite good looking.

Hi Andrew, the images you can see on this link: http://www.chaosgroup.com/forums/vbu...rlos-s-Gallery, contains large amounts of trees, cars and buildings, I use Vray Proxy, these unique images have a size of 3000x1300 pixels. The Vray Proxy is a great tool for this.
