  • Published A New Tutorial

    Hi everyone,

Although there are many LWF tutorials, I receive many e-mails asking the subject and see that it still remains complicated for many.
So thought it would be helpful to make a tutorial from the artist's point of view instead of the scientific explanation.

Part 1: Another LWF Tutorial From The Artist's Point Of View
    http://www.pixela-3d.com/tutorials/another-lwf-tutorial

Part 2: LWF Settings For Non-Baked Gamma
    http://www.pixela-3d.com/tutorials/l...on-baked-gamma

    Hope it is useful.

          Nice tutorial!Thanks for sharing!
there is a tiny mistake on the image of the second tutorial, the picture on the right says sRGB button is off instead of on. i know that you can see on the image that is on, but its only to avoid confussion in case the reader doesnt understand what LWF is about. The tutorial was helpful to me, showing the artist point of view is a very good idea to make the topic easier to understand. Thanks!

so thats your advice? lean back a bit and squint your eyes then use that gamma setting? sheesh. what kind of advice is that. ill tell you what kind. the easiest kind to use. seems so simple now. All this time i was using gamma settings not useful to my monitor because on this monitor 1.4 looks the closest as opposed to using the 2.2 mentioned in all of the tutorials. will have to give this a try next time im in max.
