  • (New user of vb3.0) SunSky connection

    Hi everyone!

Incredible news since I have been working a few months ago with VrayBlender!

I have to recognize that I'm a bit confused with all that new stuff (nodes, nodes and nodes), but I think the effort in learning it worth it.

Btw, are there plans to have such a kind of wiki or tutorials to help understand the guts of it? (I was looking for your videos, ockelford, but didn't find them )

The (stupid) question I have is about sunsky, how to connect an existing sun with a world node?

Thanks in advance! (In Vray Advance, of course XD )

When you add vray sky texture there is input called sun(?). I am not sure about naming, but it is white dot. Then you have to find node called object input, under geometry? and chose your sun. It is just guudline not actual reference cause i cant recall proper naming. But a bit of searching throughout nodes is always good.

      Sure, docs are almost ready.
You could also found a few node setups here: https://github.com/bdancer/vb30/wiki

You could connect Sun with "Selectors" -> "Object Select" node to the "Sun" socket. Otherwise, Sun will be found automatically.

Wow, thanks for the info, it clarifies me some things about general behaviour and logical of nodes (input, output...)
