  • How to start interactive rendering V-ray RT?

Hello, I don't know how to get realtime prev in v ray frame buffer.
I can just render 1 frame (with F12 or render button)
I am using vray 2 standalone demo and blender 2.73 build
Alway when I press render button or F12, new frame buffer pops up. Is it possible to always replace the old one?
I need to fix those 2 things before I will buy the license.

    Thanks

I'm too curious not to ask. Are there any plans of implementing this future? I remember some time ago this used to work.

Yep it is also very important to me to know. I can not work without RT

I am confused about what "Realtime Engine" is for. What happens when I enable that and set the Realtime Engine to my device, besides starting a render that never finishes?

You could use it for rendering with GPU.

Sorry, let me elaborate my confusion. When I use the GPU for rendering it never actually finishes. The "stop" icon in the top right corner never seems to grey. Initially it had me wondering if it was the RT stood for "real time" and it behaved like the RT Engine in 3ds Max but I ruled that out when I made changes to the scene and no update occurred. So I get that I can render using my GPU instead of my CPU, but can you tell me why it never seems to complete or how I know it is done.....I guess I am supposed to watch the console or something. I am away from the machine that has V-Ray installed so I can't verify that.

There are render termination settings at the "Realtime Engine" panel.

Yes, you could watch into the console.
