  • How do I get my .blends to open up in Blender and not Blender (With V-Ray Additions)?

This is driving me nuts. I have tried to reassign my .blend files through Control Panel>Folder Options>Change the file type associated with a file extension, but whenever I open a blend file it opens with Blender (With V-Ray Additions) and I don't want this. Is there a way to set things up so my regular official Blender opens them instead?

    Thanks in advance,
    Bryson

    Run in terminal: c:\path\to\your\official\blender.exe -r
NOTE that if you save your vray scene with the official blender you'll loose all your materials (https://github.com/bdancer/vb30/wiki NOTES section)

Thanks a lot for your help. I opened CMD.exe and typed the path but it didn't work. When I put "C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\blender.exe -r" without quotes into the search area of the Start menu and hit enter, it worked.

      Thanks again!
