i HAVE FOUNDT A TURNAROUND BASED ON A SCRIPT OF CYCLES FOR ALIGN A SUN TO AN HDRI, THE ONLY PROBLEM I REMBER WAS THE HDRI OF CYCLES IS 180 OPPOSITE TO THE DEFAULT OF VRAY

So can you just copy Cycles sun to Vray and rotate sun object Z 180 degrees ?

Yes i can't remeber where i found the addon but i remember the position of the sun was 180 degrees opposite, but after some experiment i noticed hdri with high dinamic range with gamma of 0.7 -0.75 produce good shadows, for example the hdri free of Peter Guhtrie in his blogsite.
