  • Irradiance Map

    Hi!!

I calculate the Irradiance Map for a Fly through Animation. In the Final Rendering i take the irradiance Map from File. It works perfect, and i save a lot of Time. Perfect, but what should i do, when objects fade out and fade in in the animation? The irradiance Map is wrong or?

    Thx for our help.

I'm no expert by any means! but did you add incremental , or just render a single ir map?

      Re: Irradiance Map

I render and save add incremental. But i think the irradiance Map is wrong becouse at Frame 100 i have an object 1 on the place X. At Frame 200 the object is fade out (hidden), and at Frame 300 object 2 is fade in on the place Z. The only animation i have is the camera fly trough, and some Objects fade out and after few frames the objexts fade in.

I hope i could discribe my Problem.

how are you doing the calcs for the irr map?
for the objects that fade you may have to calc every frame for the part of that animation.

          Irradiance Map!!

I calculate every second Frame with incremental add to current map.
But i think, if i have i object with fade out at frame 100, then i will have an shadow on these plce at frame 150 or not???

          I think i don´t understand these logic.

Sorry but i´am a total rooky with vray.
