Mixing two materials together

Hello,

How do I mix two materials together? Let's say I want to create rusty metal, so I will have one metal material and one rust material and what is the way to control blending of these together? I've seen some max tutorial, where they use blend materials, however I can't find this in blender - v-ray combo.

You can add a "layered" node that you connect the BRDF nodes to. Some examples here:
