Looking good. I think mabye your milk needs to be less reflective, slighly more blurry (glossies) and absorb a bit more light.

But it is looking damn good!!

Here is something i made ages ago in realflow. Crappy texture, and its a little too think but still looks cool.

Yes. It is so hard to get good results with realflow!

The only thing I can do is telling you what's wrong in your animation *sorry*:
      - it is to chunky
      - Liquid like milk does not have such rounded edges where it touches the wall of the glass. Due to the surface tension the milk should even go up a bit at the (sharp!) edge.
      - I have never seen such an energetic milk!!! Once the milk is in the glass it should not jump around that intensive/long. Due to gravity and surface tension again, the milk surface should calm down very fast.
      - most times when I pour out some milk there is a movement in the "milk-beam". The milk pours out while the air streams in. That results in a "wobbling" milk movement. *I don't know how to explain that in better words ... "

I am looking forward to your next milk pictures!

      Regards,
      Mirko

Thats the problem with realflow and glue3d, to get idea results you need lots of particles so you can have a sharp mesh where it counts, but this requires alot of processor power.

looks like he recalculated the fluid simulation

Hmmm, that flow is looking pretty good , maybe glue can do better than jello. Can we see the animation?

I haven't tried either realflow or glue3d.....but couldn't you model something like a funnel (in the shape of a natural flow)to get the milk to the bottom of the glass. Obviously this thing would be totally transparent but it might allow the milk to smoothly get to the bottom without looking like its gone sour by the time it gets there. Like i said...haven't tried it...just a thought!!!

I think the problem is there werent enough particles and the "blobs" created around each particle by realflow or glue3d are too big, that's why it looks like cottage cheese. I found it to be helpful to increase the amount of particles to as many as possible. Of course the calculation times are horrible, but the results are smooth.
