One question about curves used to control fallof map (Grant workflow), do you use it only in top right quadrant, positive values? Is that correct workflow?

yes, that's how curves for falloff works in vrayblender. You could check this post, SreckoM.

Material #005 - Various Metal (Basic)

okay guys, here is our next material. i think it would be better if we could check the material directly in blend file. so i upload them all here.
some of them are basic metal material that i created recently. but there are also some dirty or old ones. just put in the nice dirt map texture on texture slot.
              hope you like it.

Hey gimu Thanks very much for the new metal materials, ... but i don't know why
when i put texture and render, nothing happens. I only have black render and in preview material it is nothing. When i render gold budda from link http://forums.chaosgroup.com/showthr...resnell-Curves
i have only duffuse without metal efect. I'm wonder what version vray standallone are you using? I'm curently using vray standallone 2.25, mayby that is the reason ?

That as i was thinking i only change in standard material from GGX to any other like Ward, Blinn, Phong and everything is ok. Because GGX must be in vs V - Ray Standalone 3, and i have 2.25 for now. Thank you once more
gimu for that great metal materials
