I was hoping to get any tips, advice or tutorials from anyone out there that does product rendering for pretty shiny things.
Basically I want to set-up my master scene with a base plane, HDRI map for lighting and reflections, GI and do a series of rendered still and animations on different pieces of jewelry form rings to necklaces.
I was planning to set my scene up to accurate measurements (in cm or mm). This helps when constructing the objects and elements in the product.
Any thoughts, pitfalls?
