transparent plane

Is it possible to make transparent plane, but leaving shadows? So the shadows would fall in background image. Hope my questions is understandable.

Camera > Hide Objects > [x]From Camera > Objects: Your plane object.

Hmm, wierd - I got an error, when I hit render

I have tried this one already. It hides object totally, although I check only invisible to camera.

Download latest Vray for Blender and update exporter.

Reinstalled Vray to the newest, but update exporter pup op error - Git is not found

@kalashnikov, for the plane object turn on "Wrapper", then "Matter Surface", set "Alpha Contribution" -1.0 and check "Shadows" and "Affect Alpha".

Why in my final picture in Photoshop plane is transparent, but dark? I can't even adjust it to disappear, so it smoothly blends with background picture.
