Direct Sun shadows softer ?

How should I make direct Sun shadows softer, I.m using background image and the regular Sun is affecting it. Or maybe there is a way not to affect?

You can make the sun shadows softer by increasing the "size multiplier" in the sun settings.

This works only with regular SUN, but what about DIRECT SUN? :/

You mean a direct light? Check the Vray Shadow Parameter and tick on area shadows and play with the size settings.
