I am learning to making and applying materials in V-Ray and I am on to wood. I have an armoire in the scene and I assigned a wood texture to the Image File node, that is connected to the Diffuse socket of the Standard Material. Mapping is set to UV and there are proper UV maps on the armoire object. What I don't understand is when I turn the UV islands to follow the grain and render, it looks right in the 3D View Editor but it still renders the same (wrong) as it did before I rotated the UVs. Is this a bug or is there some extra step that I am missing?
