same results on renderfarm with progressive image sampler

hi,
if i want to render a film with "progressive" image sampler instead of "bucket" on a renderfarm with machines of different power, how can i be sure that the results are the same. if i restrict the rendering in "time" i would get different results cause the better rendermachines make more passes in the same time...no possibility to restrict the passes?

You can use either the noise threshold or the number of passes (using the max. subdivs parameter) to restrict the render.
