Hey guys.
Does anyone know how to achieve consistent scale across multiple objects using Triplanar Texture node?
There isn't anything in VRay Blender help about the node and VRay Max help says:
"Reference to another node – The projection is done in the local space of another node in the scene. If no node is specified, world space is used. This mode is useful when several objects need to be mapped with the same triplanar texture and to show consistent mapping."
Maybe a more accurate question would be what is the best way to use the scale setting? Like, is the texture repeated per BU? If your settings are Metric, does a texture repeat every meter? If my units are Imperial, then would it repeat every foot?
I'm having a hard time setting an accurate "real world size" for Blender.
