  • Lighting a night scene

    Hey folks,

I'm no wiz on lights, so I thought I'd ask you if you know any tutorials or something on how to light an interior night scene.

well to be honest that would be fairly simple... have no light coming in through the windows and just place lights where they would be and adjust the levels until you get a right amount of light.. if you have a scene in mind, post it and i'll show you.

Are there any tutorials on how to light a exterior night scene? That seems more complicated.

I dont know any tutorials but i know a web where you can download real 3D models and there IES files you just place them on your scenes by using Idrop by Autodesk great stuff if you are using max 6 is inside.

Then the lights will produce real values and should be acurate.

The company is called ERCO they have done the lighting in some famous building around Europe.
