Yes, the panorama exporter for Max 6 works with Vray, I haven't worked out a way to net render panoramas though.

                  Yep

I also made a couple of panoramas with Vray and the panorama exporter ... No problems at all...
And By the way, it was already implemented with the Max5 (with design extentions..)

                      2 things.

                      1. Dont write in caps....ever!!

                      2. If you have max6 is already built in, if you have max5 you need to get Design Extensions to get Panorama exporter.

If you dont have or cant get either of these then you will need to have a quick search around the net, its easy enough to find.

ooo yeah... Welcome to the forums

WHAT IF YOUR CAPS KEY IS STUCK!!!!!!
                        hehee kidding
there is also the option (longer method.) of rendering with vrays cubic camera. taking it into photoshop then cutting it into 6 different images and using those with an external QTVR compiler.

Ive always wonered why since QT is known for video. why hasnt anyone come up with a method to have loopable motion files as a QTVR. that would be cool to see in a building a small fountain flowing or a TV turned on or one of many things.

Oh I have seen ONE OF THOSE IN (oops sorry!) the past... Some guy have created a "QT" panorama that was animated! It was created using muliple cameras attached on a small plane. Really good, you could look around while the plane was landing... when I find I will post the link.

Meanwhile check this out....shocking but thats the idea..

the QT panorama doesnt seem that hard to do...but does anyone know of a way to do QTVR objects easily? The QTVR studio from apple has never been updated past v 1.1 or something....and thats only for old versions of the mac OS (pre OSX)...the only other option I've seen is a $300 program....and a $300 companion program for doing the panoramas.

found that panorama exporter.. just need to figure out how to limit it to 180degrees instead of 360.

                              cheers
